This raises a practical question: is the protection on these typically handled with an aluminum polish as for wheels, or do they just keep it buffed?

But - with 95% of real or quality repro Cobras, you don't *need* to: aluminum does get shiny pretty easily, I was just wondering if there was info beyond that.

If that's a Kirkham, it's not a wrap. It's polished aluminum right from the factory. Check out Kirkham's website. Seriously amazing stuff.
